This week you will be doing Land Art and photography outside of your home

LI: To explore outside your home, collect raw material and make an art piece that relates to you. (culture, Identity).
SC: When you have completed your natural art piece, explain what resources you have used and show evidence by taking a photo or video.

My Art piece is called CELEBRATION
I have created this land art piece using different resources from flowers to leaves and pine cones.

This photo represents me dancing and celebrating my Maori culture. I used the colours as they were bright and made me feel happy hence why I have a big smile on my face.
I am proud of my heritage and this best represent me enjoying myself doing the poi in a kapa haka group.

Students assignment:

Step 1: Sit down at home and brainstorm on a piece of paper what you are going to create as your art piece.
Step 2: Take your piece of paper and venture around outside your home and look for resources and materials to make your land art. BE CREATIVE.
Step 3: Construct your art piece.
Step 4: Take a photo or video and save for evidence.
Step 5: Open up a word document and construct your evidence with the photo and a short story explaining the following;

The name of your Art Piece
The resources you used and why?
How you think it represents your identity or culture
